Winter nail care routine

Hi everyone,

winter has now officially started over here with a little bit of snow.

Winter is always a season people have different opinions on. On the one hand, snow, hot chocolate and a warm and cozy home enjoy many supporters, while many people simply hate the coldest of all seasons – and the dry air caused by radiators. It simply makes your skin an ocean of dry patches, your hands rough as sand paper and your lips dry like desert soil (check out my previous post for appropriate lip balms).

Coming back to hands – for my taste, I tend to paint my nails more often in the colder months, as I love dark, rich and autumnal colors. But of course, no nail polish looks pretty when your hands are a totally dried up mess.

Here are a couple of tips for your winter nail care routine, offered by

Tone in tone

Hi everyone,

today it’s all about fashion again – but in a different way.

I created a couple of collages with various clothing items.

As you guys might already know, I’m a person who likes to wear simple and kind of minimalist styles.

My weekend skincare pamper

Hi everyone,

it has been quite a while due to exams and school-related stuff – sorry for that.

However, you all may have already noticed that I am a big skincare and beauty junkie (and by big I mean tremendously big).

During the last couple of years I started getting into skincare in particular and began to think more about my skin and upgrade my routine. Believe it or not, 2 years ago I never really cared about a facial cleanser, toner or a face mask! All my skin got was some water and a quick dip of moisturizer twice a day. I have been quite lucky so far as I was never really concerned with acne or serious breakouts in the past – my skin was never really a thing I extremely took care of. But I noticed at some point that my skin was neither really smooth, nor even and clear. As my interest in makeup grew, I knew that skin is the most important point for makeup and a crucial thing to really invest in – a smooth canvas doesn’t only look good but make you feel good as well.

Especially within the last year I’ve been experimenting a little bit and slowly built up a skincare routine for the morning, evening and – who would have thought it – weekend, where I usually have more time to concentrate on my skin and give it a good treatment.

fashionable yes to…f/w inspiration

Hi everyone,

October is almost over (time flies!), which means that it’s officially time to get out those cozy knits and chic coats!

For me personally, fall is THE season when it comes to showing how much potential your closet has. Whether you wear a drapey cape, a classic wool coat or the all-rounder parka – there are so many ways to keep yourself warm and look fashion-conscious at the same time.

Of course, Pinterest is my best friend when it comes to inspiration. I’ve been browsing through my Feed and put together my ultimate guide for your fashionable cool season.
